WORK WITH ME

Death is a deeply personal experience, and how you navigate death and grief will depend on various factors, including your cultural and religious background.

As a death doula, I provide practical and compassionate support services for individuals, families, and communities that are navigating:

  • Proactive engagement in end-of-life planning (everyone 18+ should have a plan!)

  • Diagnosis of a life-threatening illness

  • Imminent loss

  • Recent loss

  • Unexpected loss

  • Infant or pregnancy loss

  • Pet loss

I am committed to supporting you in any way I can. If I’m unable to provide the appropriate assistance, I will gladly refer you to resources that can better meet your needs.

  • Duration: 30 minutes

During our initial consultation, we'll connect via phone or Zoom to explore your circumstances and needs surrounding the end-of-life journey. We'll discuss your goals, giving you the opportunity to express your aspirations and concerns. I’ll provide an overview of my services and suggest potential ways I can offer tailored support for your specific context.

Rather than crafting an immediate plan, our consultation serves as a foundation, enabling you to decide how we proceed. I typically follow up within a few days, allowing you the time and space to reflect on our conversation and decide whether you'd like to move forward with additional sessions.

  • SERVICES INCLUDE:

    • Helping create tailored end-of-life plans, including education on your options and rights, facilitating reflection on end-of-life preferences, and providing practical guidance on advance directives and documentation

    • Empowering you to have essential discussions with loved ones and decision-makers to ensure your wishes are clearly communicated and respected

    • Advocating for your wishes with your care team and others to ensure they are honored

    • Supporting other preparations, such as "death cleaning" activities to help you share treasured belongings with loved ones while you’re still alive, enhancing emotional connection and reducing the burden on your family after you pass

  • SERVICES INCLUDE:

    • Compassionate listening and support navigating the grieving process to find healing and meaning

    • Offering coping strategies throughout your grief journey

  • SERVICES INCLUDE:

    • Supporting creation of a personal legacy project that preserves your memory and provides comfort to your loved ones

    • Assisting those grieving in creating memorial projects to honor their loved ones

  • SERVICES INCLUDE:

    • Providing companionship and compassionate presence during the dying process

    • Helping orchestrate the environment for the moments surrounding death

    • Support with vigiling and ceremonial activities as desired

  • Every situation is unique, and a one-size-fits-all approach doesn't always fit the diverse needs of those I support. I offer flexible engagement structures tailored to your needs.

Depending on your circumstances, support may range from a single session to multiple sessions over time. I will work with you to determine the most appropriate engagement and fee structure, whether that’s on an hourly basis, as part of a session package, or a custom plan. I offer a sliding scale for those with financial constraints.

  • I am not a licensed psychotherapist and do not offer clinical or therapeutic treatment, nor do I perform clinical or medical tasks.

I do not provide legal, financial, medical, or estate planning advice, nor do I make decisions for clients. My role is to support and help facilitate the wishes of the dying person and their loved ones before, during, and after death.

Let’s work together.
