Designing death better

I’m Rebecca Pardo, an anthropologist, technologist, and certified death doula.

I strive to create more supportive experiences around end of life through The Nightside.

Let’s work together.

For Individuals

I provide practical, compassionate support for individuals and families navigating end of life. This may include planning, grief support, and guidance during illness or caregiving.

For Organizations

I offer strategic consultation on end-of-life issues in products, services, and content, along with trainings and workshops on death planning and supporting grief in the workplace.

“Illness is the night-side of life. Everyone who is born holds dual citizenship, in the kingdom of the well and in the kingdom of the sick. Although we all prefer to use only the good passport, sooner or later each of us is obliged, at least for a spell, to identify ourselves as citizens of that other place.”
